Zoo Museum under the Department of Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Bukhara State University was established. Rakhmonov Rashid Rakhimovich, a senior lecturer at the Department of Biology, is currently working on his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Sciences on "Hunting species: fauna, ecology and sustainable use in Bukhara region." One of the teachers of the department is H.M. Toshov, N.A. Shamsiev, A.R. The Rayimovs are also conducting their research using zoo museum materials. Today, schoolchildren from cities and districts often visit the zoo-museum to strengthen their knowledge of biological sciences.
